City Blues Connection was founded in Hamburg (Germany) in 1979.
The 2nd album "Bluesin'n'Boogin'! was released in 1980. Since 1980 professional work and tours in Germany.
1984 full power album "I Do Not Play No Rock'n'Roll".
1985 recording ressions with Louisiana Red, which have been released in the album "Louisiana Red & The City Blues Connection - World On Fire".
After millenium recording sessions in Switzerland and Austria.
Since 2015 concept of the Rhythm & Blues Big Band.
2018 release of first Rhythm & Blues big band album Anna Liza.
2019 release of 40th anniversary double album with premiere at opening evening of Salzburg Jazz & The City and enthusiastic reactions about live concerts and 40 anniversary double album “40 Years: City Blues Connection 1979-2019”.
2022 release of 2 singles and an EP with young singer Anne Bischow and Steve Baker (Blues Harp). Single SUNDAY KIND OF LOVE between September’22 and June’23 7 Months #1 in Bluestime Charts, based on Spotify streams.
April 2023: 50th Stage Anniversary Album of Norbert Egger with music from City Blues Connection featuring Anne Bischow and Steve Baker
