With Wanderer, I aim to blur the boundaries between the imagined and the
real - an album shaped by introspection, subtle contrasts, and a deliberate
sense of exploration. The singles heralding the album - “Turn Up The Love”,
“Put Your Love On Me,” and “Phantasy” - each offer a focused glimpse into its
sonic direction: warm, precise, and rooted in Claptone’s distinctive ability to
fuse emotion with meticulously crafted electronic production.
The journey continues in January with “Black & Gold”, a shimmering blend of
electronic glam-pop, sensual vocals, and atmospheric melancholy, shifting
effortlessly between dreamy elegance and dance-floor tension. February
brings the focus track “Sandcastles,” a piece that reflects the uncertainty of
being human - the awareness that our creations may crumble, and the quiet
beauty found in building them nonetheless.
The campaign culminates with the release-week single “Wanderlust”, an
emotive, atmospheric track with understated pop sensibilities. It unfolds in a
warm, hypnotic soundscape that feels both intimate and expansive, capturing
the album’s central theme of movement - outward into the world, and inward
toward the self.
