Claude Glass is the solo musical project of songwriter Isa Ong. Experimenting with electronic and acoustic sources, he crafts songs that explore beauty in the tumultuous and the quiet - forming warped, surreal stories refracted from personal experience. At times manic and at other times restrained, he manoeuvres through an array of influences while focusing on narrative-driven songwriting.
Intrigued by the twisted and the grotesque, his production style sees the constant warping and processing of his own recorded material (vocals, guitars and bass) to form broken, distorted textures and sounds. Set adjacent to moments of delicate and hushed introspection, Claude Glass’ sound embraces the irregularity and asymmetry of experience.
