I was born and raised in NYC and come from a family of musicians. My Grandfather, Alan Brandt, was a lyricist and wrote a number of jazz standards. The most notable is a tune called "That's All." I was mesmerized by his ability to blend lyrics and melody and the power of that synergy has always resonated with me. My love of music and storytelling brought me out to Los Angeles 2 years ago and, like my Grandfather, will continue to evolve as I do.
