Clef 23

Clef, 23 is an anchor, healer and glue to the community. Clef, 23 is a safe place for all to hang out and to have conversations about inequality & how to move forward.

With this in mind, one of the additional goals of Clef, 23 is to remove the trombone from traditional orchestral, jazz and solo settings. Coupled with the use of distortion and reverb pedals, the trombone can be used as a vehicle to express a wide spectrum of sounds & tones due to the unique feature of the trombone slide, and the instrument's versatile dynamic range.

There is a soundscape that is beautiful, eerie and quite powerful when the trombone is paired with these effect pedals, creating a soundscape that strives to speak to everyone. A deep knowledge of orchestral / jazz music is not required to enjoy the trombone.
