Climatic aka Volker Dorsch, pianist & producer, was born in Germany in 1971. While coming from a jazz background, he became truly fascinated with electronic music, digging the minimal tech and electro jazz dj's that rocked the city of Cologne in the early 2000's. So at that time, he began to create his own tracks and remixes. Also inspired by acts like Kruder&Dorfmeister, Aphex Twin, The Orb, he really developed his own individual style, which could be best described as intelligent ambient, downbeat and house music. Climatic's first album "Around And About" appeared on 4MPO in 2005 . His fifth one "Exhale" was released in 2022, the latest "Climatic Remixed" in march 2025.
