Clint Mansell is an English composer, musician, and film score artist.
Born in Stourbridge, England, Mansell first made his mark as frontman of alternative rock pioneers Pop Will Eat Itself, releasing seven albums across nearly a decade.
A move to New York City changed everything. A chance encounter with director Darren Aronofsky launched one of cinema's great creative partnerships — beginning with Pi (1998) and reaching global recognition with Requiem for a Dream (2000). Its centrepiece, "Lux Aeterna," became one of the most iconic and widely used pieces of film music of the 21st century.
Mansell is Grammy, Golden Globe, and Ivor Novello nominated and his catalogue includes:
Pi (1998) — Darren Aronofsky
Requiem for a Dream (2000) — Darren Aronofsky
