Clint Vines & The Hard Times was founded in late summer of 2017. Drummer Tayler Labrum and rhythm player/lead vocalist Clint Vines crossed paths one fateful afternoon where they struck up the idea to start making music based on similar ideals and musical interests, such as The Devil Makes Three, Poor Man’s Poison, John Fullbright, Ray Wylie Hubbard and many, many more. As if by some cosmic design, bass player Joey Kittrell would jump on board that very same evening after several previous talks with Tayler aiming at starting a project. The three would later pick up lead guitarist and banjo player Dru Gid, who helped mold their unique sound. Dru would later amicably part ways from the band to pursue personal interests. The remaining members have since gone their separate ways and now Clint is the only original member. Taking the reins on the entire band front and writing new songs yet keeping that original familiar groove, Clint is finally finding his own sound. Just like the changing of the seasons, this band has continued to put out ever changing and familiar music.
