Clio Renner is a Melbourne-based keyboardist, vocalist, and songwriter whose music reflects the diverse array of artists she has performed, recorded, and collaborated with. Following her acclaimed 2018 EP Something Left to Leave Behind, Clio released her debut album Nothing Breaks, Nothing Mends in 2020. The album received widespread praise, including Album of the Week from the AU Review, and was a finalist in the prestigious Vanda and Young Songwriting Competition in 2021. Renner's unique sound blends introspective storytelling with a rich sonic landscape, inviting listeners to reflect on their own experiences of hope and uncertainty.
Her sophomore album, Don’t Hurry the Dance, will be released in February 2025.
Clio has worked with numerous notable Australian and international musicians, including Angus and Julia Stone, Paul Kelly, Remi Wolf, Missy Higgins, Deborah Conway, Tim Rogers, Bob Evans, Alex Lahey, G Flip, Killing Heidi, and Olympia. Additionally, she has been a keyboardist in the beloved ‘RocKwiz’ house band for ten years.
