Meet Closet Yi, the Seoul-based DJ and producer whose career has taken her on a thrilling journey through the electronic music landscape. With a two-year stint as resident DJ and librarian at the Hyundai Card Music Library under her belt, Closet Yi's musical influences go far beyond just dance music. She's previously released on UK labels Hotflush Recordings, Curving Tracks, and No Bad Days, as well as the asia based tastemaker labels Silkroad Sounds and Honey Badger Records.
She's honed her craft at some of the most respected clubs and festivals, djing for Lost Village Festival, Village Underground, Corsica Studios, Minh Hongkong, and Circus Tokyo.She's even been featured on Resident Advisor's Mix of The Day and has crafted mixes for Crack Magazine, Circo Loco, and DJ Mag's Fresh Kicks series. Successfully nailing her Boiler Room debut along with Anz, Mogwaa, and DJ Sharda, she wrapped up 2022 with Apple Music’s NYE 2023 DJ Mix as one of the 23 artists worldwide.
As being announced as one of Beatport’s next artists in 2023, Closet Yi is expecting two EPs on the row with a europe tour in summer.
