Cloudbreaker is a Progressive Melodic Death Metal band from Marburg, Germany.
Born in 2011 by Deniz Nitt (lead guitar/songwriting) and brothers Julian Dietrich (drums) and Lukas Dietrich (rhythm guitar) it has been the goal to create a unique style of Melodic Death Metal with a progressive and modern approach ever since.
Finally in 2014 the lineup was completed by Niko Efthymiou (bass) and Maurice Arnhold (vocals).
The band then gathered to record their first demo „Bunker Tapes“ in 2015 which led to their appearance at the last edition of Ragnarock Open Air, opening for known acts Master and Sólstafir.
From this point the band started on arranging and producing their first full-length album entitled „Confinement is Finite“. It was independently released in January 2019 on CD and all digital platforms.
By now the album has been critically acclaimed by the local metal scene and certain reviewers.
