Collo has been playing and writing music since the 1970's; but it took him until 2019 to have sufficient belief to put it out there. His music has strong rock origins, but draws on elements extending across the decades from the 1980's until today; with a broader brush of styles including Indie and Alternative rock.
His debut EP "The Bluff" provided a snapshot of where he is now with his music and this release has been followed up with 11 more singles including the critically acclaimed "Sometimes" (2021) "Burnt" (2022) and "Let's Cut & Run" (2023).
His 2022 EP "The Storm" shows further development and experimentation with music styles including pop rock and symphonic metal - the EP's first track "Eye of the Storm" has received significant support and has an accompanying music video.
In 2023 the fast paced and fun single "Let's Cut & Run" was Collo's first song to achieve 10,000 streams on Spotify. This was followed by the 5-track EP "Beyond Time" that shows further musical diversity including the lively SKA track "Beyond" and the popular opening track "I Only Wish". The last song released in 2023 was the popular motivational power ballad "Glorious.Victorious".
2024 saw the release of catchy duet single "I Want You" and then Collo's most played song on Spotify - the very catchy alt rock song "Who Has Turned Out the Light". This was followed by the high speed-energetic rock song "Taken For a Ride" featuring the wonderful Rob Lundgren.
