Colonies is an indie rock band based in Tacoma, Washington. Formed in 2006, Colonies is known for its atmospheric rock with strong vocal melodies, layered guitars, and thick analog synthesizers. Colonies has released three albums and is currently finishing their fourth album. Their most recent single "Turn My Heart to Fire" was released in 2021.
