Colton Rice

Born and raised in Stamford, Texas, home to the Texas Cowboy Reunion, Colton Rice grew up quicker than most spending his early days breaking and training horses while working on the family ranch and competing as a bronc rider. The soundtrack to Rice's early life included pioneers in the Texas Country Scene such as the Randy Rogers Band, Sean McConnell, and Adam Hood. Inspired by his musical hero's, Rice realized that he had a sincere passion for music and began his musical career playing drums for the Abilene based band, The Swindler's. Soon after, Rice began his solo career as a singer/songwriter playing throughout Texas. Rice recently joined forces with long time friend/guitarist, Hank Hornsby, to play on the debut EP, "I'm Fine", which was released in July 2019. The collaboration of these two has created an enticing sound that draws from the Texas Music and Country Rock genes, but has a unique sound of its own.
