Formed in late 2006, Conditions assembled their lineup from the ashes of several Virginia-based emo groups, including <a href="spotify:artist:4NpLhpAg2JEwHRV9VDcFMJ">Race the Sun</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2m68u7WPkLT4OFLbTv6Crf">Motion Picture Demise</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:2VYLxNIhEBWmMVBZJElGFD">Scarlet</a>. The band set up shop in Richmond and, several months after its formation, decamped to Baltimore to record demo material with producer Paul Leavitt. An appearance at the 2007 Bamboozle Festival helped spread the band's profile, as did a stint with the Vans Warped Tour later that year. Vocalist Brandon Roundtree, drummer Ryan Tinsley, and guitarists Jason Marshall and Alex Howard spent the following year touring heavily, including a European gig as the opening act for <a href="spotify:artist:74XFHRwlV6OrjEM0A2NCMF">Paramore</a>. ~ Andrew Leahey, Rovi
