control is a rock band from Sacramento, California. Vocalist and main songwriter Zach MacLachlan has remained the central force of the band, bringing them to their current state in 2020. Along with Zach, the band consists of Kaden Morton (drums), Garrett Smith (guitar, vocals) and Gabriel Cheng (bass). Since 2015 they have released one EP and one full length album—Words so Hollow and Mirror, Mirror, respectively—both being shared around sites like YouTube and Spotify through large underground music channels.
Over the course of their few years as an established act, control has shared the stage with many chart topping bands like Puddle of Mudd, Hoobastank, Buckcherry, Trapt, R3D, Powerman 5000 and Creed Bratton (The Office USA).
