Hailing from York, UK, The Family Ruin define modern metal with thick grooves and a sensational live show. Formed in 2007 as theFALLEN before rebranding in 2014, the band comprises Johnny Mennell (vocals), Craig Robinson (guitar & vocals), James Langley (guitar), Josh Adamson (bass), and Dom White (drums).
In 2014, The Family Ruin signed with KBB Records, founded by Ben Bruce of Asking Alexandria and Kyle Borman, and released their debut album, Dearly Departed, in September 2014.
