Originating in Australia, South Queensland in the Granite Belt, Cool Burn was created in early 2024 when an unlikely group of 5 friends were brought together by a shared love and passion for music. What started off as playing cover songs and local gigs turned into something more as they realised how much they enjoyed playing music together. This enjoyment and passion to play more and more music grew a desire within the band to create their own sound and write their own music. Winning the Stanthorpe Battle of the Bands fuelled this desire, and Cool Burn set their sights on making the most of the winners prize, a free professional studio recording session. At this session, the band's first single, Everything About Now was recorded.
With the release of their first single Cool Burn couldn't be more excited to hear what people think and where this musical journey might take them. With dreams of making it big, the band is working hard on song writing and hopes to release an EP sometime in 2026.
