Cool Under Fire

Cool Under Fire is an original band based on Austin, TX that plays a sound reminiscent of Early Reggae, Ska, and Rocksteady from the 60's and 70's. Originally formed on Harlingen, TX, lead singer Noe Lopez found a new group of musicians in 2021 when he moved to Austin. This new group re-worked some of Noe's old songs and came up with a few new tunes that would come to be their album "Texas Rocksteady" released in November 2021.

Frequently playing the Flamingo Cantina, they have shared the stage with notable acts The Slackers, The Toasters, and Los Skarnales, along with fellow Austin favorites Hans Gruber and the Die Hards and more.
