Cooper is a songwriter, based in the jungles of Sydney, Australia. Originally raised by a family (or prowl) of jaguars, he began to realise that he was different at the tender age of 12. His first attempts at music resembled primitive growls and guttural purrs, but after stumbling upon a waterproof walkman washed downstream during the wet season, Cooper discovered human music. On the shores of Lake Tikawanji, not far from the Jannali Delta, a musician was born.
Over the years, Cooper has honed his craft. Inspired by musicians such as Frank Ocean, Jack Johnson, John Butler Trio and more, he blends raw emotional honesty with intricate guitar work. From intimate acoustic sessions to full band performances, Cooper's sound ranges from gentle folk to driving blues-rock, all unified by his distinctive storytelling and natural instinct for rhythm.
