Cosmo Dance, born Cosimo Mandorino, is an Italian DJ and producer, known for his passionate and authentic contribution to the contemporary electronic disco scene. His musical journey began in 2005 as part of the Slow Motion collective, which soon evolved into a record label and creative hub. Within this context, he collaborated with Francisco on several volumes of the "Lineabeat" series, helping shape a sound deeply rooted in 80s disco wave.
Over the years, Cosmo Dance has carved out a distinctive space in the italodisco landscape, thanks to productions that blend emotional storytelling with carefree dancefloor energy. His sound, both nostalgic and forward-looking, has earned him a growing following among fans of the genre, drawn to his belief in dance music as a form of expression rather than mere entertainment.
In the summer of 2022, he co-founded the italodisco duo "Maurizio e Dandolo" with Marcello Giordani—a project that pays playful and stylish homage to the golden age of Italian disco.
In December 2023, he launched his own label, Mirella Records, an imprint dedicated to exporting the unique essence of Italian sound. The label’s mission is to produce music that goes beyond instant consumption, restoring dance music's deeper emotional and narrative role.
Cosmo Dance continues to make people move with a vision that is both retrospective and innovative, turning every DJ set and release into an invitation to joyful freedom, musical memory, and emotional connection.
