Could Ever

Drawing inspiration from chillwave and indie staples like <a href="spotify:artist:5juOkIIy18sFw9L30syt1Z" data-name="Washed Out">Washed Out</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5WId4o5jdGVhptNU0uqKxu" data-name="St. Lucia">St. Lucia</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1xU878Z1QtBldR7ru9owdU" data-name="Phoenix">Phoenix</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:06Iig2bqY8mv98B1c9Iyo8" data-name="The Mary Onettes">The Mary Onettes</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5YkBrE0wF8cAlq3GCOw5Eu" data-name="Best Coast">Best Coast</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6GH0NzpthMGxu1mcfAkOde" data-name="Hellogoodbye">Hellogoodbye</a>’s “<a href="spotify:album:4dHXV7pJs6d8N9ACAMzhIw" data-name="Would It Kill You?">Would It Kill You?</a>,” <a href="spotify:artist:04XggbrM51GcFPTxBYtRXT" data-name="Rostam">Rostam</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:46CitWgnWrvF9t70C2p1Me" data-name="Daughter">Daughter</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:533wKOfkJylNSi6ntO1wXd" data-name="Night Beds">Night Beds</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:3gnrmLahFhVXRI9DA1MImH" data-name="We Were Promised Jetpacks">We Were Promised Jetpacks</a>, he began to craft songs during breaks at work and late-night sessions at home.

Serendipity intervened when an old college friend managing a music venue needed an opener for <a href="spotify:artist:49tQo2QULno7gxHutgccqF" data-name="LANY">LANY</a>. Recalling his musical inclination from their school days, he extended an invitation, despite the lack of songs in his repertoire. In just 10 days, he wrote, produced, and rehearsed a 5-song set, making his debut with <a href="spotify:artist:49tQo2QULno7gxHutgccqF" data-name="LANY">LANY</a> in September of 2015.

His inaugural single, &#34;<a href="spotify:track:1DEKSG7a8I3UKlKFcvPXyE" data-name="Keeping It To Yourself">Keeping It To Yourself</a>,&#34; dropped on January 1, 2016, poised for a local radio debut. However, an inadvertent mix-up led to the airing of an unrelated track from a different artist. Undeterred, he pressed on, ultimately releasing &#34;<a href="spotify:album:0ha56hWUi7wHmPUqWoVKPC" data-name="Between Waves">Between Waves</a>” that November.

2017 saw him facing the constraints of LA&#39;s compact living, prompting him to transform his car into a makeshift recording studio. From 2019-21, he released five singles, and his second studio album, “<a href="spotify:album:0O3KN61a5CUqQirjNFd8d7" data-name="Landslide">Landslide</a>,” all produced and recorded in the unconventional confines of his car studio, before it was eventually donated to charity.
