A four-member pop group from Barbados, Cover Drive features Thomas-Ray "T-Ray" Armstrong (drums), Jamar Harding (bass), Barry "Bar-Man" Hill (guitars, keyboards), and Amanda Reifer (vocals). Shortly after forming in 2010, Cover Drive signed with Polydor U.K. subsidiary <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Global+Talent%22">Global Talent</a>. Their first single, "Lick Ya Down," was released in 2011, produced by <a href="spotify:artist:7fiaiHEZQL2L5iGLA54VNN">J.R. Rotem</a> (<a href="spotify:artist:5pKCCKE2ajJHZ9KAiaK11H">Rihanna</a>'s "SOS," <a href="spotify:artist:6S0dmVVn4udvppDhZIWxCr">Sean Kingston</a>'s "Beautiful Girls," <a href="spotify:artist:07YZf4WDAMNwqr4jfgOZ8y">Jason Derulo</a>'s "Whatcha Say"), and reached the Top Ten of the U.K. singles chart. A follow-up single, the Quiz & Larossi-produced "Twilight," was released in early 2012 and topped the U.K. chart.
