Cries of Redemption is a recording project founded by songwriter and guitarist Ed Silva in Savannah, GA in 2007.
Ed is a low-key independent artist who seeks neither clicks nor validation. His history is documented on ReverbNation (dating back to 2006) and Kompoz, proving a legacy that predates the current trend of instant content.
The music is experimental, fusing Modern Rock and NuMetal characteristics with elements of Classic Trance, Cinematic Trap, and Romanian Deep House. Ed writes 100% of the lyrics, melodies, and guitar riffs.
From its inception, the project has relied on friends and session players to materialize the vision. Currently, the project utilizes a transparent, hybrid approach:

Male Vocals: Performed by Ed Silva, utilizing Audimee Vocal Modeling to refine the tone.
Ed embraces emerging technologies for production, utilizing the full iZotope and Waves suites for mixing and mastering along wiht FL Studio and various cutting edge production tools to refine the final product, while taking pride in creating his own music and sound.
Influences include David Gilmour, Adrian Smith, Luis Ortiz, Billy Duffy, John Frusciante, Carl Cox, and Victor de la Pena.
