CRKX (Connor Wynn) is a 23-year-old rapper and songwriter from Nampa, Idaho, known for his genre-bending sound and ability to rap in both English and American Sign Language (ASL). Born on September 29, 2000, Connor graduated from the Idaho School for the Deaf and Blind in 2019 and is currently attending Lewis-Clark State College. Hard-of-hearing and fluent in ASL, CRKX is breaking barriers in the music world, delivering his unique brand of rap that resonates across language divides.

Connor’s journey into music began after a life-changing experience in 2018 when he discovered XXXTENTACION, whose music and story deeply inspired him. CRKX began pursuing music professionally on June 18, 2018 - the day XXXTENTACION was tragically killed. That moment taught Connor a powerful lesson about judgement and self-reflection, motivating him to dedicate himself to creating music and leaving a lasting impact on others, just as XXXTENTACION did.

CRKX’s music draws influences from a range of artists including 6LACK, Kendrick Lamar, Jack Harlow, Bryson Tiller, Russ, and Tory Lanez, combining introspective lyrics with melodic, genre-bending production. In 2022, CRKX took a significant step in his career, touring the Pacific Northwest as one of the opening acts for Afroman. He’s also been featured on Radio Boise, further establishing his presence in the regional music scene. Connor's music reflects themes of love, growth, sobriety, and the pursuit of a better life, inspired by his own journey.
