South Africa’s indie duo 'Crosscurrent' started out on the local, Cape Town music scene in 2016. Consisting of lead singer/songwriter and producer, David Franke, his muso brother Owen Franke on vocals, keys, trumpet and drums. Their warm melodies and lyrical songs have detailed composition and capture the unique diversity of their musical influences. With Jazz and classical backgrounds the Crosscurrent outfit serves as an outlet for their creative expression that reflect the influences of local traditional and international music .
