We make music because it's our purpose. Forest Key is a 'FolkRock’ Band' from Cape Town RSA that show no limitations of instrument diversity. From soulful acoustic to powerful electric all the way through to piercing piano melody whilst seeking influences from Folk, Country, Blues, Indie, Jazz, Electro and Rock.
We are an original band and we pride ourselves in creating new content using our own unique styles.
The band is driven by our purpose to make music. We are captured by the emotions and the feelings music evokes and we only wish for our audiences to experience it as we do. That is why we take every opportunity to play music as our last to ensure we make it the best one yet. Finally our vision is to bring good to a broken world through music, finding a balance between embracing heart ache and gifting encouragement, breaking conventions and ultimately learning to love.
