Elijah Williams-Cruz, Born in San Diego, CA and raised in Portland, OR. He brings a mix of West Coast reggae from the north and south side. Playing in his first band, Aisle of View from Portland, He got his touring experience playing from coast to coast. Moved to San Diego in 2014, he has been pushing good vibes with his current band Cruz Roots in local venues in town. Keeping true to the One-Love mentality, using reggae as the foundation, his music brings people together and pushes a message of strength in unity and love. His Father was the original guitarist in the band, Big Mountain, who became famous for the Reggae version of their cover ‘Baby, I Love Your Way.’ Elijah grew up in the presence of great Reggae artists and the inspiration shows in his music. The goal is to eliminate negative mindsets in the people globally. “I want to inspire personal growth in the listener, and teach my son that it is possible to succeed with love.” says Elijah. “In order to conquer the odds against us, we need each other and I will promote that to the fullest.”
