Curtain is a French coldwave band that released 2 LPs and 1 EP in the 2000s. Influenced by <a href="spotify:artist:7bu3H8JO7d0UbMoVzbo70s" data-name="The Cure">The Cure</a> , <a href="spotify:artist:4HLWX9kzfraiCsTvrxJEXm" data-name="The Chameleons">The Chameleons</a> or <a href="spotify:artist:432R46LaYsJZV2Gmc4jUV5" data-name="Joy Division">Joy Division</a> , they are compared to post punk and gothic bands like <a href="spotify:artist:3WaJSfKnzc65VDgmj2zU8B" data-name="Interpol">Interpol</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2cj2xZs7g6SRnIv12vRkkG" data-name="Little Nemo">Little Nemo</a> , Asylum Party or more recently <a href="spotify:artist:58rIPw8uw8LW01eQH7Mi7m" data-name="Soft Kill">Soft Kill</a> or <a href="spotify:artist:2Gs4t6zBT69DSluLvaEBWK" data-name="ACTORS">ACTORS</a>.
After a 15 year break, Curtain went back in 2021 for the 20th birthday of No Flowers by Request reissued in a Deluxe version by MusikÖeye label.
The band's return is confirmed in 2022/23 with several gigs with notably <a href="spotify:artist:6mEohczxsctzkEIU0WAeWD" data-name="Christian Death">Christian Death</a> , <a href="spotify:artist:1StVGGYOC5FM3aNpJQ74Vj" data-name="Selofan">Selofan</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7gS5jg683LHmjEY540cmH5" data-name="Corpus Delicti">Corpus Delicti</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0VluRa9xSnSeZYfYoy9q15" data-name="Martin Dupont">Martin Dupont</a> or <a href="spotify:artist:2cj2xZs7g6SRnIv12vRkkG" data-name="Little Nemo">Little Nemo</a> and a new album Between us released in March 2024.
They then started recording and mixing new tracks with <a href="spotify:artist:668EBx9Mi3UDyR4EDZ95u6" data-name="Franck Amendola">Franck Amendola</a> (<a href="spotify:artist:7gS5jg683LHmjEY540cmH5" data-name="Corpus Delicti">Corpus Delicti</a>) . New singles - Unbelievable (Nov 2024), Mother (May 2025) and Fire (Jan 2026) - will be followed by their new album Spiral to be released with Manic Depression records on 7 May 2026.
