Curtiz IV is an emerging Afrobeats artist from Namibia, known for blending soothing, danceable rhythms with a hip-hop twist. Born Winbard L. Pashu in Rundu and raised in Katope Village, Curtiz IV’s musical journey began early, inspired by his grand mother’s singing and a radio gifted by his father. After moving to Windhoek, he initially gained recognition as a rapper in 2016, but his sound has since evolved into a unique fusion of Afrobeats and hip-hop.

In 2023, Curtiz IV launched his own record label, TOP DWG AFRICA, to push his music independently. His debut self-titled EP, CURTIZ IV, released ealier this year, introduced fans to his signature style, blending smooth melodies with vibrant beats. His most recent track, "Energy," continues to build momentum with its catchy, upbeat vibe, attracting attention across Namibia and beyond.

Determined to inspire young musicians from humble beginnings, Curtiz IV's rise in the Namibian music scene reflects his passion, dedication, and desire to put Namibian music on the global stage. Keep an eye out for his upcoming project, BAD COMMANDO, which promises to showcase even more of his creative vision.
