D Flex , born Abubakar Alhassan on February 28, 1983, in Accra, Ghana, is a Ghanaian-Canada based Highlife, Afrobeat, songwriter, and actor. Raised in Adabraka, Accra, he developed a passion for music at a young age, drawing inspiration from renowned local and international musicians.

At 14, D Flex's love for music led him to frequently attend entertainment events, showcasing his talent and performing live.
