Da Problem Children bring a true West Coast sound, born and bred from the Bay to LA. Producer, mixer, and writer Mark Five came up from the Fillmore District in San Francisco, where his recording studio was a home to some of the Bay Area’s earliest influential rap artists in the ‘80s and ‘90s. Artists like Andre Nickatina (formerly Dre Dog), Ill Mannered Posse, Totally Insane, and others all crossed paths there. In 1998, MarkFeezy moved to Los Angeles to mix and record for Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and he went on to work with legends like Run-D.M.C., Westside Connection, Gang Starr, Charlie Wilson, and more. Along the way, he and Compton artist Stylie Ray formed a friendship and began releasing tracks as the Problem Children. Today, they continue to drop new singles, writing and recording what they please, and bringing both new and old friends along for the ride.
