Mr. Loco AKA Loc Da Smoke, is a Bay Area rap veteran with Scandinavian & Chicano roots. Co-founding Thug Style in the late '90s, he gained international exposure by featuring on "Sick Manifestations" by Chicano rap group, Sick Individuals. In 2004, mentored by Cee-Rock "The Fury," Mr. Loco's journey continued under the guidance of DJ Pimp, DJ King Assassin, and platinum producer Mike Mosely, who brought him into the fold at Steady Mobbin Productions.
In 2006, he co-founded Wize Guyz Global with MC Ron, DJ Ying, Slim Chill, and A2K, dropping mixtapes on DatPiff. 2010 saw the formation of Badd Blood with Penn St8, alongside a digital distribution deal with Who?Mag Distribution. Dogg Habit Records signed Mr. Loco in 2014, which led to a stint with 1Hood Entertainment before he went independent.
On May 31st of 2022, Mr. Loco stepped down from WGG, & the next day he established Tha Pipeline Coalition. His new label continues to support emerging artists with digital distribution.
Collaborating with legends like Snoop Dogg, Ice-T, KRS-One, KXNG Crooked, Too $hort, Tha Realest, Jadakiss, Cam'Ron, The Game, & more, Mr. Loco's career is defined by dynamic partnerships.
As Mr. Loco continues to evolve, his legacy grows through meaningful collaborations, unwavering dedication, and Tha Pipeline Coalition's impact on the music scene.
