Daddy DJ is a French animated character and producer who rose to fame in 2000 with his debut euro-dance single “Daddy DJ” which topped the charts in Sweden and Norway. The song also peaked #2 in France, Danemark and #7 in Germany.
The track and music video tell the story of Daddy Boy, a little boy who admires his father’s music and aspires to be just like him when he grows up.
Following the success of the track, Daddy DJ released his debut album “Let Your Body Talk” which features hit singles “The Girl In Red” and “Over You”.
He became a multi-Platinum and Diamond DJ/ producer with 4 million records sold between 2000 and 2005 and 2 million monthly listeners on Spotify in 2023.
His second album “Folder” was released in 2012. The DJ began to transition to Pop music with singles like “Perfect Day”, “Crying”, “In My Head”, “Funk You” or “Free Your Mind”.
23 years later, Daddy Boy is ready to continue his father’s legacy under his stage name Daddy DJ.
He will release in March 2023 the new single “Issues”. The pop/ electro track features French duo <a href="spotify:artist:1YjaVTeHBlVRRxbk7H30HN" data-name="Lunis">Lunis</a> and is the lead single of his 25th anniversary and collaborative album “Back to The Party (25 years of <a href="spotify:artist:2Bc52Zzq4Hx7Dqm0Qw8bJL" data-name="Daddy DJ">Daddy DJ</a>)", set to be released late 2025.
