Winners learn from losses because they see them as lessons. Though young in age, Southside Atlanta native DAEtrius has amassed over 11 years of experience in the music industry. His successes and failures have shaped him and ultimately frame his artistry. Although “he’s more Andre 3000, than Future” (VIBE magazine), his ear for melody and love of storytelling create a soundscape that resonates with listeners from the Dungeon to the Hive.

In 2015, DAEtrius made an indelible impression on music fans and tastemakers alike at A3C, capturing the attention of famed Hot 97 DJ Peter Rosenberg, and popular rappers Wiz Khalifa and Trinidad James. Since then, DAEtrius has released the critically acclaimed The EBRO Demo EP in response to Ebro Darden’s criticism that “Atlanta artists need to step their bars up”, and last September dropping his new single “ShowOut”. With limited promotion, “ShowOut” amassed 1,000,000+ streams on Spotify and was featured on their “Most Necessary” and “Fire Emoji: Best of 2016” playlists.

His talent and work ethic continue to pay off as DAEtrius was named a “2017 Rapper on the Rise” by VIBE Magazine and most recently, had his new single, “Miss Me At All”, featured on Season 2 of the hit HBO television series, Insecure. DAEtrius’s clever lyricism and pimp-like tone layered against the backdrop of Epikh Pro’s brilliant and gritty production, make for an infectious listen for all music lovers.
