To Dutch artist and songwriter Daimy Lotus, music is therapy. She is a very soft and open person but with an edge to it, which you can hear both in her lyrics and her music. Themes she writes about are heartbreak, mental health and self growth. It’s her mission to turn pain into power, hence Daimy’s music is best described as empowering pop-rock.
After writing songs and performing them for her solo project for several years, she decided to focus on writing for other artists as well. Therefore she has worked with a variety of songwriters, producers and artists in- and outside the country. Daimy has songs out with ao Markus Schulz, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Paris Hilton, Phuture Noize and Julian Jordan. Thanks to these collaborations, she has performed on some of the biggest stages in the Netherlands like Defqon.1 and a sold out AFAS Live.
Daimy’s priority right now, next to writing for others still, is finishing her first album. There's a lot more to follow from this poprock sensation so keep your eyes and ears open!
