Dajla is a singer-songwriter, a music producer known for her soulful voice and uplifting lyrics. Born in France of a Tunisian father and French-gypsy mother, she has traveled the world in pursuit of her passion for music and in search of the meaning of life. She has written, produced and released albums and numerous singles with artists worldwide including reggae legend Stephen Marley.
Dajla first made a name for herself in the Soul/, RnB-Hip-hop scenes across the globe from London to France, via West Africa and the US. She settled in New York City to work with 7-times-Grammy-Award winner producer-engineer "Commissioner" Gordon Williams (Amy Winehouse, Ms. Lauryn Hill). Several singles were released including « Why » w. reggae royalty Stephen Marley.
After the pandemic, Dajla headed back to Europe and connected with Senegalese and Nigerian artists around a new Hip-Hop-Afro-Gospel project showcasing Dajla's versatility as an artist and her ability to blend different genres to create something truly unique.
Through her music, Dajla aims to inspire others to seek the divine in life. Her powerful voice and heartfelt lyrics have touched the hearts of fans around the world, and she continues to push boundaries and explore new musical territories.
