Dan-Georges Mckenzie is an Innu singer-songwriter from the community of Uashat mak Mani-Utenam. He launched his first EP in the winter of 2022 where he presents luminous country-folk-pop songs and talks about resilience, love and family. A favorite of the public and the jury, he won several awards at the Vue sur la relève festival and was the first indigenous artist to reach the semi-finals of the 26th edition of the Francouvertes with a show in an indigenous language.
