British singer-songwriter Dan Haynes has become known for his intricate, melodic, and rhythmic acoustic guitar style. His writing has been compared to that of a young Paul Simon and he has shared the bill with prestigious artists such as Elkie Brooks, Midge Ure, and Woodstock legend, Richie Havens.
After a near 10 year hiatus from writing and touring his own material, Dan re-recorded his reflective and home-produced album, Had Some Falls in 2018. He then began appearing live again in the UK and Europe, where his live shows were described by Media Lucus in Germany as being ‘an acoustic guitar master class’. These tours also see Dan perform at prestigious UK venues such as the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham and the stunning Festival Theatre in Edinburgh.
There is an openness and honesty about his live shows that draw you in. He’s an artist with a heartfelt and fresh sound and sits amongst some of the best emerging British talent around today.
