Danai Nielsen is a solo dream-pop, synth-based composer and singer, who uses voice FX to create musical dialogues between a male and a female alter ego persona.
Active since 2004, Danai started her career in music as the member of the successful Greek band Rosebleed, which signed with Sony Music in 2007. Rosebleed shared the stage with significant artists such as Santana, Hooverphonic and the Cranberries, to name a few.
The band then evolved into Than.Eye and relocated to Germany, with their first EP released in 2016.
Since the beginning of 2019 she has been producing and performing solo, using synths, loops and samples, and creating unique costumes for each of her shows. She has performed in festivals such as Reeperbahn, 50 Lab and Taste The Music, as has completed a European solo tour. She also works across a number of collaborative projects with musicians such as JIM Bespoke (Ninja Tunes), and artistic performances throughout Athens.
