Dancoes is an independent singer-songwriter whose indie/punk-inspired music can perhaps be described as "post-grunge" but "pre-emo". Raised in both the US and Brazil, listening to bands like Jawbreaker, Jawbox, Fugazi, Jets To Brazil, as well as non-punk related artists such as Elliott Smith, Mogwai, The Cure, Radiohead and some Brazilian folk artists as well. This one man project began to come together sometime around 2015 or so, after reuniting with old friends after a long break from music, and finally released at the end of 2020.
