Disciple of master trombone players Lucien Barbarin and Gene “Mighty Flea” Conners, he developed his talents in New Orleans, where he learned and played with musicians as Leroy Jones, Tuba Fats, Shannon Powell, and Freddy Lonzo.

Since 2006, he is the conductor of the Barcelona Jazz Orquestra, one of the best bands in Europe. Pioneers and promotors of the Lindy Hop movement in south Europe, they play monthly swing sessions at the Apollo Theatre in Barcelona.

He has toured and recorded with artists such Frank Wess, Phil Woods, Benny Golson, Jon Faddis, Nicholas Payton, Adrian Cunningham, Jesse Davis, Bobby Durham, Gunhild Carling, Kurt Elling, Ann Hampton Calloway...
