CCM singer/songwriter Daniel Doss began his music career in the mid-2000s while serving as a worship leader at Clarksville, Tennessee's Grace Community Church. The four-piece <a href="spotify:artist:2VtijBCDRsLnB5gBNich9A">Daniel Doss Band</a> had already become a regional touring act with a couple of independent releases to their credit when, in 2006, some tracks they'd contributed to a compilation brought them to the attention of leading Christian label (and major-label affiliate) <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Sparrow+Records%22">Sparrow Records</a>. Working with Dove Award-winning producer Ed Cash, the <a href="spotify:artist:2VtijBCDRsLnB5gBNich9A">Daniel Doss Band</a> recorded their debut album Greater Than Us All in 2008. A follow-up album, Beyond My Reach, arrived two years later via the Mission House label, though it would be the last under the <a href="spotify:artist:2VtijBCDRsLnB5gBNich9A">Daniel Doss Band</a> banner.
