Daniel Miranda

Coming from the city of Vicuña, capital of the Elqui Valley (Chile), Daniel Miranda, guitarist, composer and teacher has participated since 2003 in different projects mainly oriented to Jazz, Pop and Hip-hop, with outstanding musicians of the national scene. Between 2004 and 2008 he was part of the "Universitaria Big-band" of the University of La Serena. In 2009 he created the first chair of electric guitar in the region of Coquimbo at the University of La Serena, where he taught until 2011, the same year in which he was a finalist in the composition contest "Luis Advis". He has participated in recordings and artistic projects such as: "El Vuelo" (Natalia Corvetto); "Viaje interior" (Daniel Miranda Trío); "Pinceles y puñales" (Cevlade); "La casa de Astaire" (Cevlade); "Música popular de la región de Coquimbo"; ("Colectivo" project); "Clouse" (DVD); "Groovinilo" (EP homonymous). Currently, in addition to developing as a teacher, is an active musician of the projects of rapper Cevlade, singer Natalia Corvetto, the group Saudade and his project Daniel Miranda Trio.
