He’s been writing and releasing music for over a decade now, but Icelandic artist Daniel Oliver is finally on a journey towards releasing his debut album.
The body of work was composed and crafted over a six-month period in Stockholm. Influenced by ‘80s synthpop and inspired by relationships, the songs count as both his most pop-orientated output to date, as well as his most personal. The first singles have earned critical acclaim from music blogs and radio stations, with so far two of the four singles having charted on the national radio airplay chart in Iceland.
As an artist, Daniel believes in the importance of presenting a message in his music, without compromising on the feel-good factor that all pop fans turn to the genre for. Throughout 2022 and beyond, Daniel is excited to share his words with listeners around the world. As well as a career in his native Iceland, Daniel has also enjoyed chart success in Sweden, radio rotation in Australia, and TV work and concerts in Iceland, Sweden and the UK.
Although it won’t just be his words that Daniel Oliver will be showcasing - he promises to deliver a plethora of hooks, riffs, melodies, beats and synths to be enjoyed too. An artist that always provides the full pop package.
