Daniel began writing rock music as a result of hearing Europe’s ‘The Final Countdown’ during a visit to a laser light show in London in 1989, and has remained influenced by the likes of Bon Jovi, Guns N Roses, Queen and Def Leppard to this day.
Daniel’s singing career was almost permanently derailed at the age of 19, when he was diagnosed with a ‘disfigured larynx’, brought about by poor vocal technique. However, after many months’ voice rest, a course of speech therapy, and several years of singing lessons, Daniel returned to the microphone.
Daniel spent his early years writing and singing with local rock bands, before joining metal band ‘Full Tilt’ in 1995, and rock/blues outfit ‘Easy’ in 2000, and then forming his own band ‘Trigger’ in 2003.
‘Trigger’ recorded 4 albums and ran for 8 successful years before reaching a conclusion in 2011. From here on, Daniel continued writing and recording under his own name as a solo artist, where he recorded 4 albums.
Sadly in 2019, depression and anxiety plunged Daniel into a ‘deep, dark, pit of despair’. Recovery was slow, but with appropriate support, Daniel escaped the grip of these horrific illnesses, and now all profits from Daniel’s music are donated to Mind UK.
Presently in 2026, Daniel has returned to his mission statement as first stated in 1989 – to make new melodic hard rock music, with new music available now!
