Danielle's latest album release 'NEVER A SAINT' is a project that's taken two years to complete. A collection of soft, acoustic pop songs alongside two traditional yoga chants performed in the same melodic style. Including romantic songs such as 'I Can't Resist You' and 'Red Headed Man'. her style is very much inspired by the likes of Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Rickie Lee Jones and even Burt Bacharach.
CAREER
Danielle began her professional training at The Welsh College of Music and Drama Cardiff, followed by the Laban Centre for Movement and Dance, London. Her love for singing and songwriting began to blossom whilst training hard for a career in musical theatre. " I realised that I was much more comfortable being myself rather than pretending to be someone else"
Three decades later with half a dozen albums under her belt, including the 6 track EP ‘Beautiful Thoughts’ produced by Jon Wright plus the highly acclaimed ' BREATHE' album she continues to write and front the DANIELLE NICHOLLS BAND as well as practising her other love which is teaching Yoga!
Danielle is a regular favourite in former radio one DJ Mike Read’s Heritage Chart and also co hosts on Canada’s ‘Radiodowntown’.
Another interesting fact is that she is also a fully fledged member of THE KORGIS of 'Everybody's Gotta Learn Sometime' fame. You can catch Danielle and the guys touring next year with their ‘End of the World’ tour 2025.
