Singapore Idol runner-up Daphne Khoo made her album debut in 2007 and also appeared on several television programs. Born in Perth, Australia, she moved to Singapore at eight years of age. In 2004 she appeared on the first season of Singapore Idol, finishing as third runner-up in the singing competition. This impressive finish led to a multitude of media opportunities, including the 2005 television drama Shooting Star. In 2007 she released her debut album, Desperate, featuring the lead single "Doll." ~ Jason Birchmeier
