British born Pop/R&B Songstress Darah fell in love with music from a young age and cites Rihanna, Sia, Beyonce, Usher and Coldplay as some of her main influences.
A gifted songwriter, Darah has collaborated with some of the biggest names in Pop and R&B penning tracks for Platinum selling US rapper Pitbull, T-Boz (90’s supergroup TLC), Leona Lewis, Toni Braxton and China’s superstar songstress Tia Ray. When it comes to producers Darah has written with the best in the game such as Babyface (Whitney Houston, Usher) and Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins (Michael Jackson, Destiny’s Child). With her powerhouse voice she has lended vocals to the albums of various artists such as Steff London (Hurtin’ Me) and Tom Odell (Jubilee Road).
Her recent release ‘Sleep Talking’ attracted the attention of BBC Radio 1 DJ Rickie Haywood-Williams who declared himself to be ‘a massive fan’ of the London-born songstress. ‘Sleep Talking’ was aired on BBC Radio 1’s Rickie, Melvin and Charlie Show, a huge milestone for the artist.
