Originally from New Jersey, Darion Ja'Von started his musical journey early discovering his passion for drums at the age of 2. He went on to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston, on a scholarship, where he built an incredible following on YouTube gaining international attention for his live arrangements.
In 2014 Darion teamed up with Rodney Jerkins at “DarkChild", and quickly ascended into the world of production, since then producing and scoring music for networks like VH1, ABC Family, FOX and Disney, as well as landing major films such as Lionsgate “The Perfect Match", Tyler Perry’s “A Madea Family Funeral” and ”BOO 2!” and Warner Bros. 2021 production “Tom & Jerry”.
Darion released his first solo project “Honest” in 2017 gaining over 1 million streams.
Over the past few years Darion Ja'Von has established himself as a force to be reckoned with as the Musical Director for artists including, but not limited to, Ne-Yo, Steve Lacy, Tinashe, Ava Max, Arin Ray, Sevyn Streeter, Sabrina Carpenter and Doja Cat.
Darion Ja’Von has created music for worldwide tours and major televised performances like The Grammy’s, The Billboard Awards, The VMA’s, iHeart Music Awards, Late Night TV shows, NYC + Paris Fashion Week, and has taken the stage at the biggest music events in the world, such as Coachella, Lollapalooza US + South America and iHeart Jingle Ball.
Darion is currently working on his second solo project.
